
ABOUT Me
Tzu-Tung Chen is a 20 years old Taiwanese Violinist who is currently studying in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam(CvA) under Eliot Lawson and Maria Milstein.
During her studies, Tzu-Tung has performed with several chamber music groups, including Duos, Trios, String Quartets, Piano Quintets. She also has experience collaborating with the orchestras as a concerto soloist, working with conductors such as Young-You Zhang, Zhen-Sheng Chen, and Lex Bak with Symfonisch Harmonieorkest Amsterdam, she appeared as a violin soloist in Saint-Saens: Danse Macabre. Ms. Chen also enjoys participating in music festivals including the Kaija Saariaho Festival and Taiwan & Australia music festival etc…..
At only twenty, violinist Tzu-Tung Chen has already begun to make her mark on the international music scene with her delicate yet powerful performances. Her musical journey has taken her across continents, showcasing the brilliance and promise of a new generation of musicians.
Her overseas engagements include performances in Sydney and Brisbane in Australia , where she impressed audiences by seamlessly blending the emotional sensitivity of Eastern music with the structural precision of Western classical traditions. She has also been invited to perform in Malaysia and Japan where her artistry transcended cultural boundaries and resonated with listeners from diverse backgrounds.
Now based in Europe, she continues to balance her studies with her performance career. In the Netherlands, she actively performs in concert halls, churches, and other venues , collaborating with young musicians from around the world and enriching her artistic vision.
In addition to her international appearances, Tzu-Tung has been equally active on the stages of Taiwan, performing in the nation’s most prestigious concert halls, including the National concert hall in Taipei the National Taichung Theater and Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the arts.
